Music is a must-have for me during a workout, especially whilst running. It really helps me to zone in and keeps me away form distracting, negative thoughts. During the half marathons I recently ran, on both occasions I nearly hit that wall around the 16km mark. If anything, music really helped me get through. Old school music is a huge part of my playlist. When you're running low on energy, I love hearing coming across an old track, and suddenly thinking "I remember this!"
